Are your parents members of North Central Electric Cooperative? If so you could win a college, vocational or technical scholarship of $3,000 from NCE. First place will be given for both a boys and girls division as well as runners-up in each division which will receive $2,000 scholarships. One overall first-place winner will be eligible to earn up to $3,600 in additional scholarship money from Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives.

 

The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors whose parents/guardians are members of North Central Electric Cooperative and receive electric at their primary residence from the cooperative. The applicants must have at least a 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative grade point average or better.

The overall first-place winner will be eligible to earn up to $3,600 in additional scholarship money from Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives. They will travel to Columbus on April 17 for the statewide scholarship competition.

Winners must also be accepted and then enrolled in the accredited college or proper vocational or technical school of their choice.
