Some members who have received checks for their Capital Credits refund are experiencing issues with depositing the funds into certain banking institutions. Please know that the issue is not with the checks.
We have discussed with multiple banks and the issue appears to be with using the mobile deposit app or that the check is being entered incorrectly either in the app or by the bank. This has been leading to increased wait times for the funds to clear.
We believe the quickest way to get the funds appears to be physically depositing the check inside at the bank and not using the mobile deposit feature at the bank.
If you are having issues with receiving your funds, you should contact your bank directly as it is an issue with their system and app. We apologize for the inconvenience.
