One of the Seven Cooperative Principles that guide all cooperatives is Concern for Community. It's a crucial part of the cooperative business model and what sets us apart from other utilities.

As media reports the spread of COVID-19, I want to let you know that we are monitoring the threat and discussing plans to help protect our critical business operations and, most importantly, our members.

North Central Electric Cooperative is focused on maintaining a healthy workforce and keeping key personnel—such as line workers and member service representatives— available so that we can continue to provide the excellent service you expect from us. As a precautionary measure, our team of energy advisors will not be making in-home visits. They will, however, be

available by phone to answer any energy-related questions or concerns.

The cooperative will stay open, but we are recommending that our members refrain from paying their electric bill in person. As an alternative, we recommend paying your account using the Smart Hub app .

The CDC and DHS states that the risk for individual Americans is low, but if COVID-19 does emerge in our area, rest assured your cooperative is prepared for how we would keep the lights on, process bills and serve our members. We are hopeful that spring will end the spread of flu and COVID-19, but it's essential to be prepared. We will keep you informed of any updates.

Thank you for taking preventative steps to keep yourself and the community healthy.
